About BringList
BringList started as a BBQ sign-up sheet for one group of friends who were tired of sorting out “who’s bringing what” in a group chat. It grew into a planner for all the get-togethers that happen between friends: potlucks, birthdays, picnics, game nights and camping trips.
The idea is simple. One person starts a plan, sends a link, and everyone claims what they’ll bring. Quantities add up, gaps are obvious, and nobody needs an account.
What we care about
- Privacy. Plans are private to the people with the link, aren’t searchable, and are deleted automatically after 120 days without changes.
- Useful numbers. Each guide has a calculator built on common rules of thumb, so you can size a shopping list in seconds.
- No friction. No sign-up, no app to install, works on any phone.
How it’s funded
BringList is free. The public guide pages show ads from Google to cover hosting costs. There are no ads inside your private plans.
Who runs it
BringList is built and run independently. Questions or ideas are always welcome: [set CONTACT_EMAIL].
