Privacy policy

Last updated: September 25, 2026

This policy explains what BringList (“we”) collects, why, and the choices you have. BringList is designed to collect as little as possible: there are no accounts, and we don’t ask for your email address or phone number to use the planner.

What we store when you use the planner

Plans are only visible to people who have the plan’s link. The link contains a long random code; our database stores only a hashed form of it. Plans are deleted automatically 120 days after the last change, and the organizer can delete a plan’s contents at any time.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and keep it secure. To prevent abuse we count requests per IP address; we store only a hashed form of the address, and those counters expire within about an hour.

Advertising and cookies

Our public guide pages (not the private planner) show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. You can learn how Google uses this information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

We use Google Fonts to display text, which means your browser requests font files from Google’s servers.

Service providers

We use Vercel to host the website, Upstash to store plans, and Google for advertising and fonts. They process data on our behalf or as described in their own privacy policies. We don’t sell plan contents, and we don’t share them with advertisers.

Children

BringList is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. Because we don’t have accounts, the quickest way to delete a plan is for the organizer to use “Start over,” or to let it expire. For anything else, contact us at [set CONTACT_EMAIL].

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
